PARTICIPATIVE RESEARCH ACTION

The VITIREPERE-PNPP project is based on a participatory research-action approach. This means that it is designed and structured in a way that allows the diversity of actors who feel concerned about the issues it investigates to be involved in the research process. The ambition is to bring together winegrowers, vineyard advisors, professors from viticulture programs, elected officials, and researchers from different backgrounds and disciplines. Together, these stakeholders shape research topics, develop research hypotheses, establish methodologies, gather and generate data, and formulate scientific knowledge. Directed towards both the social sciences and humanities and the biological sciences, the project covers a broad spectrum of interests and requires active engagement from both researchers and field actors.
