Viticulture in Alsace: Format 3 minutes.

Testimonies from winegrowers on the implementation of pilosella, a low plant that serves as an alternative to herbicides and also has the advantage of combating erosion. They recount the doubts and hopes that drove them throughout the process, which was carried out collectively. This association was born out of a participatory research approach supported by INRA, which aims to capitalize on scientific disagreements to build an intelligent solution to a collective problem.

Presents the creation of the Groupe d'Intérêt Economique et Environnemental de Westhalten. Filmed in 2016, this video tells the story of how this group of players (winegrowers, researchers, nature protection associations) came together to carry out the ambitious project to stop using herbicides on more than 40 hectares of Alsatian vineyards. This working method has led to an ambitious research and development project: to create an ecological grass cover using local plants from a Natura 2000 zone close to the wine valley."
