Travel Diary of the Savoy

The snow welcomed us to Savoie. There were no snow tyres on one of the rental cars, so we were in for a week full of surprises!

The workshop, held by a small enthusiastic group in the scent of wood, reminded us of a mountain chalet. The only thing missing was hot chocolate, but we tried a glass of Mondeuse instead! After a few shivering conversations, we warmed up in the car, discovering fabulous landscapes: steep vineyards in the shadow of snow-capped peaks.

This region amazed us with the diversity of its winemakers' backgrounds. Worthy heirs to the mountain farmers, they impressed us with their strength of persuasion, ready to defend a vision of their terroirs that reflects their own! 

Many of them have also changed careers. With conviction and passion, they embrace their new lives.
